How to register LAUNCH X431 V( X431 PRO)?

Last week, an American customer bought a X431 V from X431mall.com , but he did not know how to use X431 V.

He did not know how to register X431 V, he found me for help. After I got the CC account and password from him,I helped him registered under USA IP address. I thought this would not be any problems since he is from USA.(Because last time LAUNCH factory told us that , we’d better not help customer register their scanner because of different IP address will bring problems.)After registered for him, he logged into his account, he said everything seemed OK, so we say goodbye to each other, I thought he would have worked well with the scanner all  the time.

But this Monday he found me again, only them did I know that he could not use his scanner for whole week,which surprized me very much.He told me that he could not log into his account on his X431 V scanner by the account set by himself, how it can be? So I installed a X431 V app to my Android phone, and found the same problem.It said the password is incorrect, because I could not input more than 12 digits, but the password created by him is 14 digits, I thought I knew what was the problem.

I reset password to 12 digits to him, and logged in successfully, but there is no serial number to chosse, which means this CC account does not have any product registered. To my amazement, I did register the X431 V scanner for him. I also logged into my computer and checked , everything is OK on  my side. But on his side, he still could not see any product registered under his CC account both on his X431 V scanner and computer.

I thought this is the problem of IP address,the IP is not Synchronous,which will  need help from LAUNCH factory.Finally, LAUNCH help us solve the problem , my customer can logged into his CC account and update the software.

So,I will warn evey X431 V /X431 V+ user:

1.Do not creat password for CC account more than 12 digits, which will prevent you logging into your account by X431 V app.

2.Do not register your X431 V/X431 V+ as soon as the product authority is activated.
